Hello Fellow Reefers!

Lately I have been caught up with a bunch of personal projects and sadly my tank suffered of my lack of time. However!!! I now have some time and decided to put all my attention on fixing my current tank and on my new setup!!!

I decided to go for a completely rimless tank this time (no frame at the bottom). I know many people are skeptical of Glasscages, specially from all those bad reviews you can find in the Internet! I did call them couple of years ago for a tank and their CS was not that great, but this time it was definitely better. So I decided to go ahead and get a tank from them.

I ordered a 80 gallons or 90 gallons (48x24x16) shallow rimless tank (not really concerned with how many gallons this tank really is) . The tank is really nice, silicone job was not bad at all, polished edges and 3 side starphire. I didn?t like their overflow so I decided to get one from Jeff (CustomKing ) an amaaaaazzziiiiiiinnnnng job! Extremely happy!!!

The Stand was built by my brother ..

I also have to work on my aquascape?(I have something in mind) and also the sump..

very nice n clean! although i am a bit concerned with the stand....the plywood might be thick but make sure it doesn't bow and did your brother build any reinforcing braces or support?

Why the holes in the back and not the bottom?

well.. GC wanted to do it at the bottom but I had to get their overflow otherwise they wouldnt do it (only issue I had with them) ..their overflow is bulky.. so the other option was to do it on the side.. but after all I am happy

Kids are alright...they still do their late night buzz around like crazy mofo routine, but I've given up on analyzing that one. Battling a little algae in there, just hooked up a mini skimmer, hoping it'll help.

We DO have to catch up. I'll be at the swap...hope to see you there.
