Fry,

Yes those are great. If you can get an extra one or let me know where you got yours I would be greatful. We can measure up everything this week so we can get started on the box itself.

Randy,

Do you have the ballasts yet ? I would like to get started measuring and mounting them. I also want to see if all four halide ballasts fit with the 660 also, unless you want to have a seperate box just for the VHO's.

The wiring shouldn't take more than 1 day (an hour or so with cutting and stuff).

Fry PM me when you get a chance so we can setup a meet.

THey should just be strips that we can seperate BC. I was just going to solder onto the seperate point so we can place timers to them for individual control. I still dont know what timers we are using ? I wanted to know if they are Icecap Timers or a generic or digital. I need to see a parts list so I have an idea of what I need to bring to do the job.

Frank, Kasei, electical is not totally my gig, but I was just wondering, shouldn't the ballasts be able to dissipate heat? Enclosing them in the box only serves to contain the heat from what I can see.

BTW, it looks awesome.

Russ,

The box will have vent holes, A vent fan, and the ballasts will be sitting on top of a heat sink which is inside the box. You cant see all of that on my box but they are there. Icecap ballasts are enclosed inside of a box already that is it's own heatsink also and they really dont put off that much heat.

Actually you can see the heat sink spreader in my box. It's the white plate and the vent holes are on the left side (you can see the circular pattern in light gray inside the box)

The fan is located on the front of the box.
