Very nice . Sump looks good. Love what your dpi h w the GH overflow. The stock overflow size really kills the 57

Yea I knew it was big prior to purchasing the tank but seeing it in person was seriously shocking. Hey Bobby do you know if the GH kit comes with black silicone to mount the overflow?

It was nice. My day was going great too.
Everyone told me the glass wasn't tempered and even on their website it says it's not. I'm so Effin pissed off right now it's not even funny

Then it wasn't tempered glass. If it was tempered it would have shattered as soon as you started drilling.

Sorry it was just bad luck.

Dad did drop the tank down with one of the bulkheads in on the bottom and it sounded like something broke right before I began to drill it. I couldn't see anything broken tho bc of the brace on the bottom

Apparently it was 100% tempered glass that is the only way it would have broke like this.

I'm surprised you got that far through in tempered glass. Usually it breaks pretty quickly.

Try selling the glass and overflow to recoup some of your money.

I ripped the overflow out it is in pieces. if the glass shop can't fix it I will try and sell them the glass I doubt they will want it though.

I thought this thread was dead forever but Deep blue is sending out a new 57 rimless.
I'm so happy I have a chance to redeem myself and drill again.
