I believe that 57g is made by deep blue
Every Deep blue rimless tank, it say tempered on every side of the glass. The word tempered is engraved on the glass too.

I spoke to Deep Blue directly regarding the tank and they assured me that all sides of my new tank will be Non Tempered.

Getting there. I am ready for the tank and am picking it up at 2 tomorrow.
I got paint for the back of the tank and hopefully all the plumbing. This glassholes kit is sure making me go a different route then I wanted to. I really wanted to use spa flex pipe but bought PVC.
I don't know why Home Depot doesn't carry spa flex tubing only the vinyl kind.

Thanks for the response I'm gonna google the closest lowes. I really wanted to use spa flex because it is supposed to be a lot quieter than PVC for the glassholes kit.

It took 2 hours to drill two holes because I was so paranoid, but the drilling was a success. My toes are frozen. Pics coming soon.

Congrats glad it work out for you.. i decided that iam gonna have custom king build me a thinner overflow and get the return kit from glass-holes and put one on each side.. Any pointers? lol i will be taken it nice and slow i know that

The holes stick out pretty far from the back glass so if you have an overflow made you aren't gonna save that much more room. Keep in mind you need more clearance for the bulkheads.

Nice! Glad it worked this time. You drilled the tank in the cold? I have to drill my 125 but I was a lil nervous because the tank is in my garage and its cold. I've always drilled in the summer
