Any more info? I just picked mine up from Russ at Saltwater Critters today. It will be a few days before I get anything going.

Why did you replace the sump?

Also, how's the noise on the overflow?

Any other feedback? Advice?

iCoral: Very nice setup.

I also did a lot of research about this Reef Octopus system and following your thread since day 1. I'm about 90% leaning toward buying this system. The 10% hesitation is that the overflow noise - but I think I will custom the overflow with either Stockman standpipe or Hofer Gurgle Buster standpipe in hope that it will reduce the noise much more.

If you don't mind could you please list the height of the center back cabinet hole(s) to the ground? Just want to know what is the height of the distant.

Djbetterly- How you like the Reef Octopus T90? Did you get the whole set (tank, stand, skimmer, sump)?

iCoral - I bought the stand, tank, sump and overflow. So for I've only run a leak test, but I did give it enough time to listen to the overflow. A little hesitant about it, but not sure what my other options are.

Currently the tank is dry as I'm waiting on sand and rock. I have no skimmer yet, definitely wanting the quietest skimmer I can find. Any recommendations?

This tank will be in my living room so quiet is key. If anyone has any suggestions I'm open!
