Reef Octopus Luxury T90

WTF!!! I ran into trouble assembling the Stand. I noticed one of the side panels is warped. It was so warped that the cam lock screw can't reach the lock. I notified Aqua Cave about this issue and they contacted Coralvue. Took them half a day to respond. Coralvue said:
"I can see the side panel is slightly warped which is normal. Because it is made out of wood it has a tendency to warp. Once the cam locks are in place it will draw in the panel. This will not cause any structural issues after being assembled. "

so I replied and said: "the wooden panel is so warped that all cam locks couldn't lock. I have tried apply pressure but no luck."

After a day of waiting they finally replied to my email. They are willing to send out a new side panel. He asked me which side panel I need to replace. Which brought up another problem. I have carefully examine the two panels, they look identical in terms of amount of holes, placements of holes, sizes of holes, and top and bottom. They seem able to be place left or right depends how you turn them. Could it be that I have received the same side as an packaging error.
So I emailed Coralvue back and explained my situation. I asked him if its possible to check with someone and find out if there are any difference between the panels.

And now I have been waiting for Coralvue to respond.

Be patient man. Coralvue is aces when it comes to customer service. They'll square you away. Depending on how the holes are check both panels they may make the sides identical to ease manufacturing and what not. Be sure to ask them the next time you email them. Anytime I needed a part( only happened once out the 50 skimmers I I installed of theirs and I had lost the part accidentally) they sent it out to me once they had the I go needed to do it and it was here in like 2 days.

It look like it'll be a nice tank when it's up and going. Good luck with it. Can't wait to see it filled up.

I am putting together one of these systems that I bought used. I don't have instructions, but as far as I can tell, all of the under tank overflow parts should be epoxied - did you use any lube on that gasket or just some plumber's tape? I am leak testing today.

It sure looks pretty all new and just out of the box. Please keep posting updates.:)

Hi pgjelly, I tried using plumber's tape for the bottom section of the return slip fitting pipes but it leaks. So at the end I just glued it. How did you do yours?

The overflow is really loud and the silencer piece doesn't really help much.

Leak Test

Finally get to do a leak test. Crossed my fingers.
Really noisy overflow. I could hear it from my bedroom.
