I think if anyone's getting 'fancy' here it might be the guy who's tank is 150 gallons (and 3 Hydras) bigger than mine.

yes.. this is taking longer than expected but once you have a tank running usually there's no way back unless you re-build

wanted to do saltwater fish all my life, didn't know how to start with no LFS around ,no internet, no google no youtube and no manhattan reefs back in 1990

lol not really enough lighting for a 180 I also will be running T5 very soon combined with the Ai Hydras
no chiller, no controller (yet) no fancy at all

No, Home Depot didn't have most of the plumbing parts needed and they were almost closing.
