Well, I got a 20 gallon long sump but it would not fit through the cabinet door.:letitallo So back to the original wet/dry converted to sump.

What I did do so that I don't have to worry about a flood is I turned the return pump down by 3/4% of it's full capacity. Although I have 3 small powerheads on a wave controller in the tank I worry that there isn't enough water movement.

The return pump is an Eheim 1262. Don't ask me what the power heads are, they are so old that only God knows what they are.
What do you guys think!! I'm afraid that I won't be able to get a larger sump past those doors. And emptying out the tank to drop it in through the top is out of the queston.
Also, I had a casualty the majestic is gone.

what type of powerheads do you have in there now? if they are mjs you can do some cool mods to them and it wont cost you a thing. i did it on my small mj

Nice fishies:)

For future reference, the Hydor pumps will not work on a wave maker with the exception of the #4's, which Dean has working on a Seio controller.

The 20L didn't fit? Will a 20H?
(no they are not the same)

Thank you guys! Jon, only 1 is a mj, 1 is the swivel on that is 5yr.old, and the other I don't know what it is. DeVious, I don't intend to spend that much on some power heads for a fowlr. I'll probably just stick with these until they die. Then I'll replace them with the swivel ones.
Matt, thank you so much for hanging in there with me, and all the drama. Hubby & I love it.
Our couch is flanked by two 6' tanks, and it looks awesome. I just need to add a few more fish, and replace the banana eel & majestic at some point.
I'm getting a male swallow tail(on order), coral beauty(Wingo, when can I p/u?), possibly a potters angel, flame angel, and of course The Black Volitan.

Can I keep coral beauty, potters & flame angel together?

Time for an update. Plus I would like to see what you guys/gals would add if anything.

As stated earlier the Majestic did not make the move. I added a 1.5" to 2"Flame & a 2.5"Coral Beauty(thank you Wingo). Then I found a great deal on another 4" Majestic. He was in the tank 1 night, and they(not sure who) destroyed the Majestics tail & dorsal fin. I even tried re aqua scaping. And at the same time the little female swallowtail went MIA.:sad2:
So now we have a flame, coral beauty, blue throat trigger, dogface puffer, yellow & purple tang. Tank looks empty. Will add the Banana Eel when I find one reasonably priced. The Black Volitan will be added once the dwarf angels get to be 4".

Would you add anything else, and what?
Pics are coming shortly. Got some cool pics of the puffer all puffed up.

You should totally convert your pool into an aquarium. Think of how many and what kind of fish you can have! Water changes will be a pain, but the rewards.... :bagfish:

I actually saw that done on some FW forum, but I can't remember which. The guy converted his pool into a planted tropical tank and would swim around in it.

Really cool pics of the puffer. :)
I thought they puffed up when they felt threatened?
Are you going to be adding more LR to the tank? If you want the dead rock in my yard..and feel like waiting for it to cure - it's yours! LMK

Thanks Tito! I have no idea how many pounds of rock I have in there, if I had to guess I'd say about 100lbs.. I didn't want to crowed the tank with lr. I want the fish to have plenty of room to swim.
