I still think it could improve a lot more. Re-circulating and maybe switch to two smaller pump. This pump alone uses 65watt. The venturi is very small, maybe i should modified that so it can suck it more air.

dav, alright. I try this weekend.

The tank have 1 hippo tank 3+ inches, 1 midas blenny 3 inch, and 2" forktail blenny. I will be adding a 3+ purple tang in too, since the skimmer is up and running.

The tank was up for about two months without skimmer or sump. Just setup the sump and skimmer during the weekend.

The skimmer is broken in I guess after 4 days of usage.

Here is the amount skimmate after 24hrs:

Keep in mind that the skimmer cup is 7.8" diameter. And here is the bubble size in the neck.

Haven't updated this thread for quite some time :D

The tank is doing great!! I get mad PE on all the sps. That is always a good sign, I guess.

I'm still trying to work out the parameters in my tank. Need to have everything as close to nsw as possible.

Since going BB and doing everything right from the start really improved alot of things. I guess I'm a little more experienced now than when I first started :D

Here is another hairy sps. I have no idea what this could be.

I'm leaning toward a tenius, but it look like something else.

This I am hoping it would be an oregon tort
