This 125 measures 72X18X24 correct? What optics did you order with the sets?

I think your going to find a few issues crop up.

A: Your heat sinks are way to narrow front to back as well as side to side for the tank. Your likely going to find that you need to raise the setup fairly high to fully illuminate the tank without spotlighting. This will also lower your par at lower levels in the tank. If the tank is 24" deep as I think it is this could have an impact on what you can keep there.

If you plan on keeping SPS's/Clams or the like your going to find your short a few bulbs. A good rule of thumb for SPS tanks is..

Tank length X Width /15

This gives us 72X18 = 1296 Sq. inches of water surface.

Divide that by 15 and you'll get 86.4 or 86 LED's at a MINIMUM for the tank. A bit of insurance would be 96 if it were my tank.

Will it look good? Likely. Will you have spotlighting if the setup is not set high enough? Likely

I would have purchased 3 10" X 18" Heat sinks from HeatsinkUSA. This would have allowed for a larger coverage area helping to fully illuminate the tank without it costing you PAR at lower levels.

Although LED lighting is a DIY project there is a fairly large amount of research that should be done to build a fixture that will accomplish what it should.

Complete overkill and a waste of money really. You can get by quite well with 3 36 LED kits from Rapid. You can pick up 3 10X18 heat sinks from HeatsinkUSA for $157. I don't know where your getting yours from but "Custom Made" will likely cost quite a bit more. Unless you have a connection at a machine shop that can turn out the same quality HSUSA does.

Any thoughts as to where your going to house the 12 drivers your going to need with that setup?

Are you going to use the RAPID daylight simulator?

What type of frame are you going with?

Just curious as I ordered a 36 Premium kit and the daylight simulator for my 65 last night and I am still going back and forth on frame design and spacing. Only thing I know for sure is I will be using 2 10" X 16" Sinks from HSUSA.
