I picked up a bunch of really nice coral from mgny last night. My tank is starting to look like a reef Here are some pics of some of the things I added.
the stuff looks great, possible to post a full tank pic? the pics looks great
my 90 got wiped out with recent storm and i am trying to figure the best way to sneak a 125 in my basement (and fit it down staircase).
Thanks Paulie, mgny definintely hooked me up with some nice stuff.
Thirty6, Sorry to hear about your 90g
If possible definitely consider doing a 180g instead of a 125g. I was restricted to the 18" depth of the 125. I would kill for the extra 6" from front to back of the 180" Also the extra height would be nice as well. All that said I love my 125. I had a 90g before also. The extra 2' in width is great to have.
Here is a full tank shot. Not the greatest quality, but you'll get the idea
I had just moved some things around ans some of my corals were pissed.
Thanks Bobby.
I'ts been progressing slowly, but I'm happy with it. Santa is bringing me some dosing pumps next week. Once I get them all dialed in I hope to add a bunch more SPS corals to the tank.
I installed the dosing pumps tonight. I am so happy to not have to manually dose 2 part anymore. I will still have to do mag manually for now.
Set up was pretty straight forward. They are being controlled by my Apex.
Here is a couple of pictures of the installation. Notice the really cool thin containers. I love those things. They take up hardly any room
It's been a while since I last updated. Not a whole lot of new additions yet this year. I had a issue with RTN a little while back. Following the friendly and helpful advice of JARRETT SHARK, thankfully the RTN seem like a thing of the past :0
I changed my skimmer last week to a Seaside Aquatics CS-2 cone skimmer. It took a few days to break in, but is now producing some nice dark skimmate. It still needs a bit of fine tuning to get it perfect, but so far I am happy with it's performance.
Here are some pictures of a couple of recently added things.
