Man I just get the hammer and chisel and chip my rock off..Throw them right in the garbage as I see them. Gone from my 30g. About to get up and chisel the 2-3 I saw in my new 120g. Got it from rock that I had curing for a few months...hitchhiker I guess.
I tried all of the above and they always seem to pop back up...

Keep going like that and you'll have no rock left. LOL

There are a lot of babies in the crevices that you can't see and you can't chip away. That's why they keep coming back.

...They will ship you the Berghia of the correct size. Berghia only live a handful of months in the wild.

Get the proper size is very important as most smaller ones in the trade will not be able to get to the stage of reproduction if you plan to keep a small army in the grow out tank or fuge. Don't get the too old ones either, they are short lived anyway in the wild.

If your other solutions fail, I agree with cooking your rocks.

Here is a way, I learned on RC, when I wanted to get rid of some sponges and large brown polyps...

Take rock out and place in fresh ( non salt water ). Scrub off what you can. Leave in water for 3 days. Then, leave rock outside in sun for 3 days. Then, re-cure rock.

This will kill everything, so obviously, before time, remove any corals, that you want to save, etc.

if you dont have any xenia use a double saddleback butterfly was in atlantis aquarium yesterday and spoke with my friend joe that ownes the aquarium, he said he will devoir them and at the end he is easy to get out.

That fish will also eat corals. It is not reef safe.

Yippee! My copperband just bagged his first aiptasia (at least the first I saw). It was done in two strikes. The first strike removed the visible signs of the aiptasia and I assume the second was to grab anything on the rock that was left. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. Fingers crossed.

These work great on Mojanos but I personally don't have any aiptasia so I have never tried it on them. A few people here on MR have them, maybe they can tell you if they work on aiptasia.

I've heard good things about it, but hopefully between aiptasia-x and the copperband I'll be able to get them under control, or better eradicate them.
