Just like a typical SPS tank. Actually they are a great coral to be present in a SPS biotype type of tank. They also add color that SPS don't have.marrone said:......and needs strong lighting and prefer moderate to strong water currents.

Good info. Mine posted here BTW has the red skeleton and your right it is fragile and breaks easily.marrone said:Russ there are a couple of corals that they sell under pipe organ. The one with the red skeleton are usually very hard to keep and most of the time they usually die. Sean, at Aquatic Creations, has one that is doing well and I got one from him that seems to be doing well, except for the part that fell into a patch of mushrooms and killed it. But for the most part they usually start to die over time and the red skeleton is usually very fragile and breaks pretty easy. Not an easy coral to keep.
That would be nice to see, but considering how slow they do seem to grow (mine has improve considerably since I got it from Jon, and has grow alot relative to itself, but it is not xenia like in it growth at all) I think that it would be a rare observence.marrone said:It would be nice to see a big colony in some one tank.
There actually have been some available that are very colorful, not just the white polyps, maybe they do better.
