how about we contact whole sale with the angry NO to there tanks and stuff. Im not an expert but i think this is not a legal way to compete . that manager made a wrong decision and and it should be reviewed by his bosses. Tim it my be worth it to make poblic here on this forum the name of the wholesale. I would like to find out in person the reason they dont want to selll there tank through small guy. if it is because they do want to sell through price gougers i will order brand they dont carry

Grisha's right, make it public the store and the wholesaler, consumer boycots are effective in getting points across.

This happen to me before ,,someone called a tried to stopp me from getting a GB on salt for the guys ,,they closed one account ,but another was opened right way ,and the salt GB went on..I pretty much could say who they are ,since only one company would work that low ,,located in LI ,,but the are wholesale ,I for one dont work with them ,and tell you what ,i can care less ,Low lives like that shouldnt even be in business ,they forgot where they started from

See ,,these LFS can really compete with guys like TIM ..being on the internet give you better options to sell items for a better price to the public ,,being that Tim is small business and LFS have day in and day out customers and have been in business way longer then us ,then they have senority ,,IE ,,tim sell 4 tanks a month ,,LFS less 20 or more ,(just an example)

Boy how funny, the same thing happen to a bunch of us who were doing group buys from a wholesaler. This vendor who got the wholesaler (and started using him) from us. used his buying power to put a stop to him selling to group buys. I guess he who has the $$ takes all the toys... Sorry to hear the news...

I am pretty sure that what they did was ILLEGAL and you could actually have a good lawsuit on your hands for the store that got them to pull the plug on your account. (Something about "unlawful interference"?)

Any lawyers here? I would imagine that a letter from an attorney would wake them up. In this country it is illegal to discriminate against a business. The fact that they set up an account for you and had been doing business with you shows that they do not use specific guidelines other than having a resale certificate to take on a new client.

Wasnt there a big issue several years ago (in NY) concerning some major pet retailers blackballing small mom and pop stores and they got their hands slapped?

there are so many supplier in our area it Not really worth it ,, life gos on ,there will be some many haters out there ,but once you fiind the right ppl to work with everthing works out .No need to give up ,look for other suppliers in your area ,im sure they will gladly take your money

as a consumer i want a respond from the local supplier/wholesale.
what are they mean NO GROUP BUYS. this practice of cutting us from the deals is intolerable . i did not start with LFS and if somebody using blackmailing practice to make me pay more they starting a big mess.

I doubt it would get further than a letter from a lawyer saying something along the lines of: "I'm sure it was just a misunderstanding, but..."

I am looking at my options rite now,I don`t know which way I`m going to go about this.I already called them back and told them that I did stop selling on the internet and would only use it for my maintance business.They said they would get back to me to let me know about getting my account back.The sales maneger did say he was sorry for not going over their rules about online vending with me. I`ll keep everyone posted...Tim
