for me its simple the APEX! it structured everything for me, i can see my temp, ph, orp, amperage and more in a simple to read graph. i can feed my fish with the push of a button on my iphone and a first responder if something is going wrong via email/text and tons more. it gave me more time in front of the tank instead of behind it.

Mine was restarting a new Elos Midi after my old tank crashed after a 4 day blackout because of a hurricane. Auto top off, doses for ESV 1 and 2 and Elos's new Controller. Thanks Joe of Manhatten Aquarium for all your help!

TDS meter.sure you have a ro/di but without the tds meter i wuld have never known to let the ro/di run for 3 min or so for the tds to zero out and also know when to change out things

I feed so much mysis to the seahorses that even the hermits and snails can't finish up the left over so the extra flow at night when the seahorses are hitched, floats out all of the extra detritus. Pretty cool actually.

You got one of the best Fatheads I've had. The first second I let it out of the bag it was doing good. Usually they hide and are timid for at least a few hours but usually a day or two. This guy was pretty bold. :lol2:

Hi Dom. Does that mean your total flow on your 150g seahorse tank alternates between 1400-2400gph?

Getting a SunPod MH light to replace my Biocubes standard lighting system.

Besides that, just leaving the tank alone! The less I mess with it the better it gets amazingly. The parameters are great and stable the corals are growing. All I do is test the water, feed the fish and top it off.

Getting the new stand which gave us the opportunity to level the stand & tank... Ever since all the corals in the tank are expanding so much more!

My tank was 5/8" off level from side to side, and a bit off front to back.:yikes: Only one overflow was draining, the other one was just trickling.
