Is there in fact a moderator about?
Or is it appropriate to respond rudely to the what is supposed to be discussion?
Surely, the easily offended one can offer something besides the usual knee-jerk nay saying of every single initiative by me.

Hes acting like a 'dither fish' to keep the rest from staying on track.....and has poisoned a hundred posts with an ultra personal defensiveness that must surely put him at health risk.

This self proclaimed guardian of the more corrupt and inept side of NGO culture [ not a new revelation here ] has derailed a good deal of dialogue with his brittle, caustic, self serving temper tantrums.
If a poster must take into account the psychological profile of each and every potential participant we will never say anything of worth!
Dave V. of MAC warned us Iin private of his brittle , delicate nature...and asked us to go easy on him.
Agreed....but his constant...personal attacks by name all the time has already closed many threads in the past.
Perhaps that is in fact the goal.

I see that this thread has also taken a turn to the negative. As suggested earlier I will lock this thread after I post this comment.
I really think it's in everyones interest to try and overlook others' shortcomings but until that happens I guess we'll keep locking the threads.
I believe that in this thread (as in so many others on this forum) I see a general escalation of rudeness over the course of the thread.
Sad really as there's so much actual discussion that needs to go on and all these personality driven issues keep getting in the way.
