Why? Well sometimes I travel for a week or two at a time for work and I evaporate more than you do, as much as 15 gallons a week sometimes less, sometimes more (I have a VERY dry house air wise), so I need something to keep the tank at the proper salinity while I am gone. I don't dose anything...

Well the Agramax I laid down in my 125 a couple of years ago didn't do that, sure it clouded a little...but I didn't get the Fluff like I did with the Southdown.

What brand...and why? I am piecing together a Ca reactor system and I want to know what core system is good. I am on a buget so a $1000 system is out for me. Anyone have experience with the Premium Aquatics GEO Reactor?

According to the calculator above...the glass thickness would have to be 23.66mm =2.366cm = .9314inches...almost an inch thick...which is just about what Cabella's has in it's giant display aquariums.

I am setting up a new system with 2 90 gal aquriums connected together. One will have a majority of the live rock and the DSB, the other will be the dispay tank. I am going back and forth between having a 75 gal. between them to act a sump/refugium. I am not sure if I want to build a coil...

I just put in 2 new Ushio 10K's, replacing Coral Life 10K's...to my eye the Ushio is MUCH more yellow than the Coral Life. The Coral Life seemed to me to be a much blue light. Anyone else notice this?
