It been a while since i had any update so here we go...I been fighting a bad case of cyano in turn lost some nice frags so i started backtracking to see where i went wrong??? The funny part was my phosphate kit always read 0.04ppm so i purchase a new kit just to make sure and i got the same reading?? RO/DI tds meter at 0 the only thing that i add was a bio pellet reactor a few months ago..I took the reactor offline and add old reliable GFO,Carbon on a duel reactor and oooh yes course a lots of water changes. Still have a little leftover but it getting under control now. I finally upgraded my lighting system had a few choices in mind Ecotech Radion , Aquillumination Sol , Vertex Illumina..All have real nice features but we all know they lacked what us reef keeper used with are MH are T5 actinic and that the key word ACTINIC... So i skipped the bell and whistles also save some money and purchased the Maxspect Razor R420R 16K with 6 cool white 8k , 12 royal blue at 465nm , 6 warm white 3k , 9 blue at 485nm , 6 super actinic at 420nm.. Here a few pic i keep u guys update once i get my new corals this Sunday...

It not that bad only time will tell on coral growth the only complaints I have is the light spread I wish it had 4 clusters of light instead of 3... But whoever want a lightening unit that keeps it simple the Razor the way to got...

Thank Ken.. I know it not one of the top end lighting fixtures u guys are running but it will do I just can't justify bump all that cash on a lightening unit which will be obsolete in a few years?? Remind me of the IPhone everyone has to have it new one.lol..

hey the way i see it, is if it work and ur happy with it why not, dont matter the price..
But on the other hand, i am one of those people that "need" the new iphone..lol its more of want but i call it a need..lol
