Thanks Tom. Since I pulled my mag pump out of the sump everything is looking MUCH better. Corals that looked like they were on their way out are coloring up and showing more polyps! Hopefully everything stays healthy and I can watch everything grow.

Kris I was looking through lots of pic of tanks from around the world and I saw many great tanks with loads of nice zoa's and non-sweeper LPS's. If I can find the right pieces I think it will only add to the color and diversity of the entire setup.

Update:

I haven't lost a coral since pulling the mag pump and the colors have gotten a lot more intense. It's amazing what one bad pump can do to your reef

Tom I don't think I have pics when it wasn't doing so well, but it was a noticable difference. The SPS had poor polyp extension, faded color, no growth, and many RTNed deaths. Big thanks to Shaun for posting the tread about his mag problem!

Rich, am really glad that your tank is recovering. Since pulling my pumps also, my tank is boucing back! My problem is that I caught it just a little too late, .
