yes it's a purple rim cap
the gold flake eats pellets, ocean nutrition angel formula, nori. pellets, pods, and is constantly picking at the rocks
been a model citizen ( knock wood) along with the regal

tank is huge must be a Blatch going into it since its so high up. Your fish really love it that big i bet

I bought a 6' ladder just for the tank top is just shy 6'

some updated pics

the cap grew at least 3/4 of an inch

the lighting consists of 3-250 watt MH coralvue 10K bulbs and 3-39W true actinic t5's photo period is about 7 hours total

what I did find today is some natural indirect sunlight hitting tank though a small hooper window in my basement
during summer there is a large snowball bush that creates shade

GREAT Job! The tank looks amazing...my fish (sohal & goldflake) look very happy in this huge tank!!! I am sure they appreciated the upgrade from my 120! I can only say that I am very happy both fish went to you! Thanks for taking them - they also look like they grew a bit, espcially the sohal!

yes both of them have grown they eat like pigs!
the blue ridge coral is doing well and the slimer is growing
