If you mean the one in the front (not the other flowepot with blue centers):
Some kind of Goniopora, not sure which kind tha one is, it is my favorite in the tank. Much shorter tentacles than the other red flowerpot you see there.

Just got back from holidays, and some algae and red planarians has grown, so thats the next task to take care for.
Quite happy that not anything worse (like ususal) happened to the tanks while I was away. 18 days away this time, longer than I usually dare..

Thanks Alfredo ;)

I am considering whether or not I should sell my red sea butterfly, my other tanks are getting more and more full, and I dont have space to give my 6 tridacnas 3-4 weeks holiday 3-4 times a year to make their mantles grow nice again.
Allready got a buyer on my C. semilarvatus, but I first have to decide whether I am keeping tridacna clams or the semilarvatus,, tough decission

About time to take some new pics,, I'll try to post some in the nearest future.

The main focus when doing this type of a tank is:

1. Enough export of nutrients cause of high bioload (600L water change appr 160gal monthly)

2. Good enough water quality so the corals heals faster than the damage caused from nipping. Its no secret that the corals grow slower in this tank, than in my other tanks.

And its no secret that once in a seldom while, I wish I didnt have that kind of fishstock, because of all the extra work.
But each time I have cleaned my panels... I somehow seem to remember why I am doing this extra effort.
To have stony corals together with my favorite fishes was something I dreamed about,, which is now realized

The pygo doesnt eat much zoas. But it is nipping some on them. But its the worst one in my tank, when it comes to clams.

My earlier maculosus (which is now in my LFS's show tank 2600 gal) ate a colony in just one day hehe. But that angel was quite large.

The worst one when it comes to zoas is my koran angel (semicirculatus).

I dont keep much zoas in this tank, and I am allways having the mother colonies in a separate tank, so I dont loose them. I periodes they nip a lot, and in other periodes they almost dont touch them (depends on how much prepared food they are getting and other factors)
