This morning I drove up to White Plains to pick up my tank.

Glass Cages Didn't build it, didn't call to let me know they weren't building it. They offered to build it for 'next time'

There is NO WAY I'll ever deal with this company again. I'm in the proscess of writing down all the conversations/correspondence I've had with GC. Then I'm going to post the whole story on EVERY Fish and Reptile board I can find.

I was going to take them to small claims court* but I'd rather spend the time and energy hitting them where it counts. Their pockets.

On the other hand, I think I'm going to learn how to build my own tank. Tomorrow I'm going to call around and see prices for glass for a 58 gallon starfire would cost.

* The Glass Cages 58 gallon footprint is 1/4" smaller in both directions than every other 58. Which means my stand and canopy I've build to fit exactly on the GC tank won't fit ANY of the stock 58's. It's either order one or make one.
