thx :)

the bryopsis is almost all gone, heh-with manual removal and rowaphos ;)

here's a shot of the starcki and the bicolor blenny, top left.the monti digi has a very pretty colony of something (the feathery muddy orange stuff growing off the same rock behind the monti) that doesn't seem to be bothering it at all, so for now it stays ;)

some shameless eye candy spammage will follow soon :P

k here's a shot from a few days ago, at night w/the blue/actinic pc bulb only

most everything has been moved to their final positions, and the carpet lobo got divvied up and spread on the stack

since the pic, there are 2 new corals, and the scoly and the pagoda have fully recovered from a tumble of the pagoda onto the scoly to where both were 'burned' by the other 8O

ok, all of the corals have been placed more or less where i think they'll stay :P

now it's just a matter of fine tuning the reaining nutrient issues (dayum that tang can eat, and poop, heh) ;)

removing the powder blue next month will be fun :P

there seems to be something happening at the 'rescue' (it's beginning to color up nicely, and only has the top bald spot left to deal with) favia's left end-it appears to be either a new polyp, or a polyp ball forming (?) ...

thx :)

the tank today

fish:

powder blue tang
starcki
gramma
bicolor blenny

the powder blue ended up whacking my female false skunk (the remainder of the pair after the male surfed during a panic attack from the last earthquake we had awhile back, heh)-this fish is a real prick-does a 'slasher dance' all over the tank to maitain territorial dominance, forcing everyone else to hide on the flip side of the stack

the starcki, gramma, and blenny are plenty quick, and have plenty of caves/tunnels the tang just can't get to any longer, after i capped the main access to the main 'cave complex' w/one half of the favia i split, since each half was a different color, heh.

the tang is out and either grazing on, or attacking, the front and side panes constantly, eats like a pig, and more often than not, shows it's darker aggression colors, making it all the more stunning-i'll try to grab some shots of it close up tomorrow

the monti digi isn't doing too well, which was fully expected-there are too many fluctuations in temp still. and the system, and it's maintenance simply aren't very sps friendly :P

hopefully i'll have some close-ups of some of the nicer zoas, etc as well, to post tomorrow :P

Looks great Vitz.

I can't believe your getting away with a powder blue in a nano.

I think I'll get a tang for my 24G to help eat the hair algae. ;)
