Well my pH has not been able to get much past 8 and more times than not it was 7.6-7.8

1. I have two windows cracked open in my reef room and central AC.

2. I have great water surface agitation
(3 Mp40's and 2 Mp10's)

3. I dose Kalk.

Looks like it was time to try a DIY Co2 scrubber.

Lid Lock container

Sponge leftover from Mag 18

Drilled the bottom and sides 1/2 in holes

3/8 John guess fitting

Scrubber complete

I put it on line last night at 8:30 pm
pH was 7.94

It is now 6:00am the next morning and my pH is at 8.06

Yay! So far so good.
I will continue to monitor it and report back what it gets up to during the day.

For the last month or two I have been playing with my lights trying to incouperate less Blue and more white after I turned them up too quickly and bleached some coral Live and learn but I am slowly getting back to a happy place with less Blue.

This is my lates schedual for the last month and bumping up one degree a week
I'm going very slow to acclimate lol

Definetly!
The scrubber is working nicely I am always over 8 day or night and I'm changing the media out about once a week (2-3 cups)

Yes sounds about right.
Now I baught a 5 gal bucket for $79 I'm hopeing it last me at least a year.
Still seams like there has got to be a better way?
Only time will tell if winter comes and changes things? But my windows are always open in the fish room/Dosing Kalk and have good surface agitation so I'm not compleatly understanding why it's a problem.

Tank looks good man. I have been battling low ph forever. All the headaches, hopefully this scrubber works. If so I am joining the scrubber band wagon. I have made my refugium white light stay on longer but that only helped a little. Staying tuned in.

Ok cool I'm in the middle of setting up a 30gal rimles and once I'm good to go I'm definetly going to hit you up, the pieces I got from you are definetly my favorites and the most successful in my tank

Happy to hear that. I have been so busy with my daughter and trying to open my own studio. That I have not been on here or around much. I kind of neglected my tank. These corals have been waiting which is good because they are not frags they are more like colonies now.
