Specs:
6x54W T5 overdriven w/IceCap ballasts
2x UV lighting Actinics
2x Aquablue Special
2x Actinic Plus
Seio 1100 and 820 for flow and mag 9.5 for return
ASM G2 in sump
Shallow sandbed only in front for asthetics only

Everything was moved from my old 50 gallon reef which had only 4x39W T5 w/Icecap (bulbs were used for 20 months)

That was the progress. I moved everything from my old 50 and 29 gallon tank.
The last pic of my 50 gallon is in my gallery

Next step, drill the 50 and make it into a huge display fuge. I'm tired after all this work so that next step might take a while.

Thanks for all the compliments. I've had no problems with the lighting being too strong. Everything seems very happy with the new lighting. I do have some softies like green polyp toadstool, green nepthia, xenia, and ofcourse zoo's.

I actually want to avoid getting more fishes until I get my fuge setup because I want to keep the water low on nitrates/phosphates.

can you do me a favor and pm me the measurements of the hood.. i have a 75 gallon and would like to redo my hood... thanks...
Just measure the lip of your tank, and add the width of the wood you're using so it goes around the tank. I used 3/4" pine wood.
