just a though my lfs will drill for like 20 bucks a hole. since I blew up my 90gal, I always let them drill, this way if it cracks its on them 100% that's the deal and tyhey honor it without complaint.

If you read his tank thread his stepdad already dropped the tank before he started drilling it. He said it sounded like something broke.

I agree with Jackson trash it and be done with it. In either case I am sorry this happened.

(Ask the stepdad to pick up the tab )

Apparently if it was tempered it should have shattered as soon as I started drilling but that didnt happen. I got about half way through and then it shattered.
I tried to get all the pieces that I drilled to see the hole I made. I was going slow and kept it lubricated the whole time with the hose

If it a deep blue 57 rimless you can drill the back I am following a build on another site and he is going along the same concepts as you and he drilled his with no problems Maybe bad glass? Either way this situation sucks I look forward to seeing your new tank

The maker is adhi and the dimensions are 30x14x18
